Financial Planning Analyst

Your new company Exciting brand in a growing sector seeks to appoint a commercially minded accountant into a role which blends management reporting and FP&A. Your new role Produce periodic management reports providing commentary and analysis on the actuals to guide the business. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget/forecast. Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making. Analyse financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse financial data. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management. Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required. What you'll need to succeed Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or soon to qualify) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience as an analyst or in a management accounting role Excellent communication and presentation skills. Advanced Excel skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
