Position Overview: We are looking for a Financial Planning & Reporting Lead to join a vibrant finance team. This pivotal role will focus on enhancing financial performance through strategic analysis, reporting, and collaboration with various stakeholders across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Financial Consolidation & Reporting: Manage the preparation and consolidation of financial statements on a monthly basis, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards. Analyse and present financial results to management, highlighting key insights and performance indicators. Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development of financial forecasts and long-term strategic plans that support the company's growth objectives. Create and refine financial models that assist in evaluating business initiatives and capital expenditures. Audit Leadership: Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently and effectively. Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop and deliver impactful presentations for executive meetings, offering clear financial insights and recommendations. Work closely with cross-functional teams to foster best practices in financial management and improve overall financial literacy within the organisation. Market Analysis & Insights: Perform market and competitor analysis to inform strategic business decisions and identify potential areas for improvement. Provide support to the FD in communicating financial results and strategies to leadership teams. Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis: Conduct specialised financial analyses as needed to address unique business challenges and opportunities. Skills and Experience: Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Background in finance or accounting within a corporate environment, ideally with experience in a complex organisation. Strong understanding of accounting principles, with familiarity in international financial regulations. Experience using business intelligence tools and financial software to analyse data effectively. Proven ability in developing comprehensive financial reports and models tailored to business needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex financial concepts for diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and relationship-building across various departments.
