Financial PMO Lead

for a

6-month

contract based in

London - hybrid working. Purpose of the Role: As the Financial Project Management Officer (PMO) overseeing two key programs, your primary responsibilities include managing and monitoring all financial aspects. This involves maintaining and updating financial spreadsheets and systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. As a Financial PMO Lead you will be responsible for: Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Analysing financial data to provide insights and recommendations, supporting the overall financial health and success of the programmes. Communicating with stakeholders and keeping them updated with any changes that have occurred. Overseeing the onboarding process for new employees, which includes providing comprehensive training and ensuring they are familiar with the organisation's policies, culture, and their specific roles. Monthly activities include tracking actual expenditures, comparing them with forecasts, and analysing discrepancies. This also involves daily reconciliations between various systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency. What we require from the candidate: Strong experience of holding a PMO Lead position. Accountancy background. Experience within a large corporate environment. Strong Excel skills. Experience of Oracle, FieldGlass or Plan View is beneficial. Accountancy qualification - beneficial.
