Your new company Our client, a private equity-backed group business with ambitious growth plans, is recruiting a Senior Reporting Accountant to join their established team in Carlisle. This newly created role offers a blend of traditional financial responsibilities and the opportunity to collaborate with the Financial Controller on continuous improvement initiatives. The focus will be on developing new systems and processes to support the company's rapid growth, making this an exciting opportunity for a proactive and innovative professional.

Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, typical duties will evolve with the growth of the business and will include: Supporting with the timely and accurate preparation and review of the monthly reporting Providing accurate balance sheet reviews with explanation around key variances month to month Preparation and review the monthly balance sheet reconciliations 13 week rolling cash flow forecasting, and communication of the weekly cash flow forecast to the CFO and Commercial Director Liaising with the tax advisors to review and support timely filing of annual tax returns Supporting the Financial Controller with the year-end audit process and other statutory/regulatory requirements Working closely with the Financial Controller developing and documenting scalable finance processes and controls, driving efficiencies within the Finance team and reducing reporting timelines Supporting the Financial Controller with the implementation of a new ERP/Finance system within the next 12 months Working with the Financial Controller to help drive efficiencies in spend across the Group entities This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced commercial business.
