Following another impressive set of financial results we are supporting a global, listed business in Nottinghamshire to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager. This is a newly created position that will see you report directly to the Group Financial Controller and take ownership of the financial accounting activities for multiple trading entities.
Due to the technical nature of the position we are seeking someone Practice trained with a number of years of experience in Industry in a Financial Reporting capacity, ideally in a listed business.
The business will continue to grow both organically and through acquisition so you will also be involved in various M&A projects to ensure the integration is smooth from a financial accounting perspective.
Salary Up to £80,000p/a + Bonus
Brief overview of responsibilities:
Owning the financial accounting of the Group’s various acquisitions
Liaising with external advisors to ensure transactions are fully understood and documented
Owning and presenting the potential impact of acquisitions on the Group to support the budgeting & forecasting process
Owning the audit process of acquisitions, ensuring all appropriate documentation is provided
Review monthly Group consolidation, including analysis of variances to forecast & prior year
Liaising with External Auditors on audit queries during the year-end audit process
Supporting the Group Financial Controller with complex accounting areas, including acquisitions, share schemes, derivatives, and foreign subsidiaries
We are seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified senior finance professional with extensive knowledge of IFRS and FRS102. You will ideally have experience of being responsible for multiple trading entities in a large, complex Group function.
