I am recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager to join one of the most prestigious organisations in West Sussex. This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity requiring a January 2025 start date.
The role is hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 from home, however candidates must have flexibility around this depending on the business needs.
As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be at the forefront of financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory standards. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. Ensure all financial reports comply with regulatory requirements. Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors. Provide insightful financial analysis to support senior management decisions. Develop and enhance financial reporting systems and internal controls. Supervise and mentor a team of financial analysts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives. Strong Business Partnering skills as well as internal and external stakeholder management is key.
Qualifications:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified. At least 3 years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
