I'm excited to be recruiting two Financial Reporting Specialists for our Coventry based client. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Reporting:

Prepare high-quality quarterly, half-yearly, and annual reports for stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and statutory purposes. Accounting Expertise:

Provide advice on new accounting standards, interpret group accounting policies, and deliver training to enhance team knowledge and processes. Audit Management:

Lead the external audit process, resolve auditor queries, and oversee financial return submissions to regulators and banks. Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor junior financial reporting team members, fostering collaboration and development. System Oversight:

Maintain and optimise the Consolidation module (BPC) to support efficient reporting processes. Collaborative Reporting:

Contribute to monthly consolidated reporting, ensuring seamless system functionality and accurate management information. Technical Support:

Support key accounting areas, monitor distributable reserves, assist with treasury refinancing, and oversee dividend payments. Continuous Improvement:

Contribute to process enhancements, change initiatives, and the development of robust documentation and controls. About You

Qualifications:

ACCA-qualified (ACA/ICAEW preferred). Technical Skills:

Proven expertise in preparing group and company accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP. Familiarity with consolidation systems and advanced Excel skills. Leadership:

Experience mentoring and managing junior team members. Audit Expertise:

Confident in managing interactions with auditors. Collaborative Approach:

Strong relationship-building skills, able to engage stakeholders across all levels. Motivated Team Player:
