Financial Software Engineer - Financial Trading - St Albans (Hybrid) - £100,000 Are you an established Software Engineer looking to step away from the bureaucracy of typical finance roles whilst keeping at the forefront of innovative software? We have just kick-started this next round of recruitment with a long-standing client of ours who specialize in both Sports and financial spread betting and due to consistent success over the last 25 years are on the hunt for a experienced Software Engineer to come and play a key role within their financial development team. As a Financial Software Engineer, you can expect to: Play a key role in developing and maintaining their high-performance financial trading system. Get hands-on with the financial trading mobile app and desktop sites. Work in a full-stack capacity with .Net and Angular Have major ownership/autonomy within projects. Guide and mentor more Junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have: Over 4 years of commercial experience working as a Software Engineer Strong working knowledge of C#/.Net Solid exposure with concept such as Multithreading and Asynchronous programming Great understanding of solid design principles Bonus points if you have: Prior exposure to FIX Protocol Firsthand experience with a modern JavaScript framework.
