The Role

We're looking for a

Financial Strategy Manager

to work closely with our senior leadership team to drive strategic initiatives related to corporate finance, investor relations, and fundraising within our Finance team. This role will blend responsibilities across

Financial Strategy

and

Investor Relations , providing a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects that will impact the course of Monzo's future!

You will report to the Director of Financial Strategy / Head of IR and collaborate with C-suite leaders, finance, product, technology, legal, and external advisors.

You'll play a key role by:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Finance, Communication, Strategy, CEO Office to analyse financial performance and key business developments for use in investor communications and drive seamless execution of financial strategy initiatives. Providing financial analysis and project management to enable the execution of critical corporate finance and fundraising events. Maintaining ongoing relationships with selected investors and assist with shareholder engagement activities, including investor meetings, calls, and events. Owning day-to-day operations of the Investor Relations program, including cap table tracking and distribution of routine and ad-hoc investor reporting materials. Conducting detailed market research and industry benchmarking to identify key trends related to financial performance and competitor dynamics to inform Monzo's equity story.

We'd love to hear from you if... You have experience in strategic and/or analytical environments such as investment banking, equity research, management consulting or Investing (PE/VC). Analytical skills are one of your key strengths - you have a strong financial acumen, a deep understanding of financial statements and are excited to work in spreadsheets. Project management is second nature to you - you've had exposure working on strategic projects, partnering with cross-functional teams and enjoy running streamlined processes. You have experience navigating verbal and written communications with internal and external stakeholders (ideally including investor audiences, but not a must!).
