We are seeking an experienced

Financial Transformation Director

for a 9-12 month temporary role to lead and manage a critical finance transformation project. This role will be central to the integration of Sage Intacct into our financial ecosystem, including seamless connections with accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), human resources (HR) systems, and Power BI. You will play a pivotal role in eliminating the company’s reliance on Excel spreadsheets and advancing the efficiency of financial reporting. As the Financial Transformation Director, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Technology, Commercial, and Data Lake to drive successful system integrations. You will take full ownership of the project, from planning and execution to managing the relationship with Sage, ensuring that all systems work cohesively and align with the company’s strategic goals. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that requires both technical expertise in financial system integrations and strong project management skills. You will oversee the financial reporting integration process, ensuring alignment across departments and effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the integration of Sage Intacct into the company’s financial ecosystem, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders across Finance, Tech, and Commercial departments. Eliminate reliance on Excel spreadsheets and streamline financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy. Oversee the successful integration of Sage Intacct with AP, AR, HR systems, and Power BI, ensuring smooth data flow and system compatibility. Manage and maintain the relationship with Sage and act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the integration project. Develop, track, and report on the project’s progress, ensuring that deadlines and objectives are met. Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements in financial reporting and data management. Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members, ensuring alignment and collaboration throughout the transformation project.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Experience:

7+ years of experience in financial system integrations, ideally with Sage Intacct or similar financial software. Project Management Skills:

Proven track record in leading complex financial transformation projects with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results on time. Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of financial functions and system integrations across AP, AR, HR, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI). Problem-Solving & Communication:

Ability to identify and resolve integration challenges, with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams. Adaptability:

Willingness to take on a temporary role with the potential for permanency depending on the success of the project and business needs.
