An established Art Shipping Company in London is looking to hire an experienced Fine Art Warehouse Manager.

The key responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing and overseeing all art logistics operations within the warehouse, to ensure it is run as efficiently and safely as possible.
  2. Supervising warehouse staff and directing tasks related to the transportation of fine art and antiques.
  3. Planning daily schedules and transport routes, taking into consideration cost and productivity.
  4. Overseeing the handling and packing of artworks to ensure it is of the highest standard and all deadlines are met.
  5. Hiring and training new staff when required.
  6. Considering profitability and cost efficiency when making decisions, to maximize the company’s revenue.
  7. Keeping up to date with any changing transport or art packing laws and training and monitoring staff accordingly.
  8. Ensuring that all operations comply with Health and Safety rules and legal requirements.
  9. Attending training courses when required.

Experience required for this role includes:
  1. Previous experience working within a similar role, overseeing warehouse operations within the Art Logistics industry.
  2. Sound knowledge of all transport regulations.
  3. Excellent planning and organisational skills are essential.
  4. Experience managing staff and directing tasks.
  5. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
