The Finishing Manager is responsible for the management of Finishing Trade Sub-Contractors and personnel on site to ensure successful completion of the project on time, within budget and to the highest standards. You will ensure that the quality of the product is of the highest standard. You will have a keen eye for detail with the ability to finish high profile projects to the highest standard. The Finishing Manager will be responsible for high class quality finishes. Principal Duties & Accountabilities Liaising with Finishing Trade Sub-Contractors: to ensure programmes are maintained and services are co-ordinated effectively. Liaising with Site Manager: Sub-Contractors programmes and co-ordination. Liaising with Senior Engineer: engineering details and Sub-Contractors co-ordination. Liaising with Quantity Surveyors: on cost issues. Liaising with Purchasing Manager: procurement of bulk items. Liaising with Quality & Environmental Manager: maintaining site records in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements. Liaising with Site Clerk: material and plant requisitioning. Liaising with H&S Officers: promoting the implementation of the Safety Management System. Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site. Compiling labour allocation sheets for all Bennett Direct labour and hired labor involved in finishing trades. Maintaining a daily Site Diary recording all manpower levels for finishing trade Sub-Contractors and keeping accurate notes of on-site activities. Scheduling weekly Work Programmes for Finishing trades and reviewing weekly progress Reports from the Master Construction Programme. Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards. Dealing with all Health and Safety issues on site. Ability to motivate Labourors and sub-contractors. Attending Bennett weekly Management Team meetings. Provide clear leadership and direction to the site team while maintaining a professional manner is essential. Qualifications Required: Preferably 5 years Finishing Manager experience. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills. Apply for this position
