Southern England I currently have an opportunity for a Finishing Manager for one of the UK’s leading Contractors who operate in the Midlands, South West, and London, with an impressive portfolio of projects valuing from £250k to £45m. Working within a mixed bag of sectors ranging from Residential, Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, and Automotive, this company accumulates an annual turnover of £130 million. The project that they are currently working on is a 200 unit Student Accommodation based in the Bath area. They require a Finishing Manager with experience within this sort of project to work for them until September on a Temporary basis. Requirements: Minimum of 2-3 years site experience Sound working knowledge of relevant site activities Proven experience of seeing a task through to completion Proven experience in supervising site activities or similar Appropriate CSCS card SMSTS certificate First Aid at Work certificate Basic IT skills Experience working on a Student Accommodation project
(Essential) Able to commute to Bath on a daily basis
(Essential) Responsibilities: Report to Senior Site Manager Managing Sub-Contractors Quality Assurance Working to programme Overseeing the work of fit-out subcontractors and carrying out all snagging to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Reporting into site-based Project Manager on a daily basis. Overseeing all Health & Safety on site. Ensuring work is delivered in a timely fashion meeting programme target. Drafting short-term programme amendments where required.
