The Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer will perform thermal, dynamic, structural, and functional modelling of components and systems in support of the design and development of aerospace and Space products and technologies. Duties and Responsibilities Develop analytical models to assess the ability of products to meet functional requirements. Utilise FEA to assess the structural and thermal performance of composite designs. Envision and assess alternate concepts to meet functional requirements. Support project and product teams by providing expert level assistance. Support the development of products. Participate in root cause and failure analysis of challenging problems. Qualifications Bachelor degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline. Strong background in Finite Element Analysis, including analysis of non-linear and anisotropic materials. Demonstrated experience performing analytical modelling and evaluation of component level designs. Based within easy access of Farnborough.
