Job Title : FinOps Engineer (AWS DevOps)
Rate : £450 per day (Inside IR35)
Location : Hybrid (One day per month in the office)
Key Responsibilities
Optimize and manage AWS cloud costs, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using AWS QuickSight to provide visibility into cloud spending.
Utilize Cube Cost (part of Kubernetes) to track and allocate costs effectively across teams and projects.
Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and finance teams to align cloud investments with business objectives.
Monitor cloud spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive financial accountability across teams.
Implement cloud governance practices to ensure compliance and transparency.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in FinOps or a similar cost management role within a cloud environment.
Strong expertise in AWS , including cost management tools and services.
Hands-on experience with QuickSight for building interactive dashboards and reporting.
Familiarity with Cube Cost and Kubernetes for tracking cloud expenses.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge of public sector environments and their unique challenges is a plus.
