Role Overview: The Fire Alarm Engineer will be responsible for the on-site maintenance, inspection, repair, and compliance of fire alarm systems at a single static site. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a fixed location.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections of fire alarm systems, ensuring continuous operation and compliance. Identify and resolve technical issues with fire alarm systems promptly, minimizing downtime. Monitor the performance and status of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal functionality. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and testing, ensuring all systems meet regulatory standards (e.g., BS 5839). Collaborate with on-site management and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any system concerns. Advise on necessary system upgrades or improvements to enhance fire safety measures. Follow all site-specific health and safety protocols, ensuring safe working practices at all times. Essential: Previous experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer. Knowledge of Gent alarm systems. Familiarity with BS 5839 and other relevant fire safety standards. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
