We have an excellent opportunity for a Fire Alarm Engineer to work for a company based in West Malling. Monday - Friday, 45hrs per week - On Call 1 week in 5, Overtime Available Fire Alarm Engineer’s Core Duties Maintaining, finding faults and rectifying fire alarms Preparing relevant documentation in line with issues and solutions Work on a variety of alarm systems, from hardwired, wireless to hybrid Support with fire alarm servicing and installations Be on-call (1 week in 5) and attend call outs as necessary Fire Alarm Engineer’s Experience Required Knowledge of fire standards and legislation Experience with Fire Alarms FIA training - Foundation minimum Health & Safety certification - manual handling, asbestos, working at heights, first aid 18th Edition - IEE Wiring Regulations ECS card Full driving licence Initiative and motivated Professional and presentable with great customer service skills Satisfactory references and a DBS check Fire Alarm Engineer’s Desirable Skills Good knowledge of ISO 9000, BS5839 & BAFE Experience with wireless systems (EMS) Experience with Gent Experience with installation and commissioning FIA FD&A Advanced Installer and FD&A Advanced Maintainer Experience with Cash for Windows Are you enthusiastic about the Fire Alarm Engineers’ job?
