Fire Alarm Installation Engineer
looking for your next opportunity? Join a dynamic team in Reading, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire alarm systems for a variety of clients. Responsibilities: Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems to the highest standards. Work on a range of systems, including addressable and conventional fire alarms. Ensure compliance with BS5839 and other relevant regulations. Provide accurate documentation and certification upon completion of work. Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet project requirements and deadlines. Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer. Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including addressable and conventional types. Understanding of BS5839 standards and other relevant regulations. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent is preferred. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Full UK driving license. Ability to put up containment to a good standard. Will undergo DV vetting. Must be a British Citizen; no dual nationality. The Offer: Competitive salary of up to £46,000 per annum.
