Job Overview: An established fire safety company is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join their team based in Wirral. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire alarm systems at various client sites. This role requires someone with strong technical knowledge, a proactive approach, and a commitment to delivering top-quality service.

Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine service and maintenance of fire alarm systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations. Diagnose and repair faults on fire alarm systems to restore full functionality. Complete all relevant paperwork and service reports accurately and promptly. Provide professional and helpful customer service, offering advice on system maintenance and potential upgrades. Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines at all times. Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency support to clients outside of regular working hours.

Requirements: Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer. Relevant qualifications in fire safety (FIA, BAFE, or equivalent certifications). Good understanding of fire alarm systems and industry standards (e.g., BS5839). Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently. Full UK driving license.

Desirable Skills: Experience working with different fire alarm system brands and models. Knowledge of emergency lighting and other fire safety equipment.
