Job Title:

Fire and Security Engineer Location:

Hampshire and Surrounding Areas Salary:

£35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience and your ability to navigate country roads without a satnav meltdown)

Our client, a well-respected fire and security company in Hampshire, is on the lookout for a Fire and Security Engineer. If you're the kind of person who enjoys solving technical issues, working with cutting-edge systems, and providing top-notch service, this could be your next role.

What You'll Be Doing (It's More Than Just Fixing Beeping Boxes):

Install, Maintain & Commission:

Fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems across various sites. Diagnose & Repair:

Identify faults and fix them efficiently - bonus points if you can do it before anyone panics. Customer Interaction:

Explaining issues and solutions in a way that even the least tech-savvy can understand. Compliance:

Ensuring all work meets industry standards - because shortcuts aren't an option.

What We're Looking For (Besides Your Toolbox):

Experience:

You've been in the fire and security industry long enough to know your way around various systems without needing a manual. Technical Skills:

Confident in installations, servicing, and fault-finding across multiple systems. Problem-Solving Abilities:

Able to keep calm and fix things under pressure. Full Driving Licence:

Because getting to site by bike isn't practical.

What's in It for You (Other Than a Salary):

Salary:

£35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience and how good you are at dodging rush-hour traffic). Van + Tools:

No need to supply your own. Paid Travel:

Time in traffic? At least you'll get paid for it. Performance Bonuses:

Your hard work won't go unnoticed. 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays:

Because even the best engineers need a break. Career Progression:

Opportunities to grow and advance within the company.

Qualifications (The Essentials):

Relevant fire and security qualifications. CSCS/ECS card preferred - but not a deal-breaker. FIA Units 1 & 5? A nice-to-have, but not required. Full UK Driving Licence - this one's non-negotiable.

Ready to join the team? Send over your CV. Know someone who's perfect for the role? Refer them, and we'll make it worth your while. #J-18808-Ljbffr
