Fire and Security Service & Small Works Engineer

Southampton & Surrounding Areas Get the best of both worlds in a role that blends service and small works, giving you the chance to not just maintain and fault-find systems, but also take on minor installations and upgrades. Ideal for engineers who like variety and want to expand their skill set. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems and intruder alarms Service and maintain CCTV systems, access control, and AOVs Conduct emergency lighting tests and fire extinguisher inspections Carry out small works and system modifications Install and commission additional devices and system extensions Complete variation works as required Respond to emergency callouts when on standby rotation Complete all necessary documentation and reports Provide excellent customer service to our clients Quote and estimate for additional works identified during service visits Technical Systems Experience Required Fire alarm systems (Gent and Notifier training provided) CCTV systems Access control systems AOVs (Automatic Opening Vents) Experience with system modifications and small installations Additional Information Company van and full toolkit with test equipment provided.
