Job Title - Fire Asset Auditor - Residential Properties

Contract - Full time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Location - Field Based across NW9

Salary: circa £27,500 + £4,320 cash car allowance + excellent benefits

Start date: February / March 2025, with 1 week training programme provided at one of our sites

About the Role:

Due to internal growth, Osterna (Residential Management Group's Fire Safety Company) is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Fire Asset Auditors to join our newly created Asset Testing team.

We welcome applications from candidates based all over London, particularly from the properties around areas NW9 and SW6. There will be a requirement for national travel to cover for colleagues in other geographical locations.

Travelling to various residential properties (predominantly blocks of apartments) within a specific geographical area, you will be responsible for ensuring the fire safety and compliance assets across these properties. You will be Osterna's brand ambassador, interacting daily with our customers, therefore it's essential you have exceptional customer service and relationship building skills and experience.

You will receive full training/induction prior to undertaking your role, to ensure you're confident in your day-to-day tasks.

Some of your key responsibilities are: Conducting thorough inspections of fire safety assets, including (but not limited to) apartment doors, communal doors, emergency lighting, alarms, and lifts. Accurately report findings and ensure all assets comply with health and safety regulations. Travel daily to multiple sites locally, and occasionally nationwide to cover for colleagues. Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate tenant and client requirements. Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Full UK driver's licence and access to your own vehicle, with the ability to undertake national travel when required. Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills. Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality assessments. Proficiency in IT packages, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively. Ability to walk numerous steps and navigate stairs during site visits; the majority of the residential buildings will be blocks of flats. The return of a satisfactory Basic Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Check. Preferred:

Knowledge of health and safety legislation is advantageous. Experience undertaking door-to-door sales/visits to residential properties. Benefits for the Fire Asset Auditor Role:
