Fire Damper Remedial Engineer

to join our team based in London / Essex / Surrey / National. As a Fire Damper Remedial Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing, testing, and repairing fire dampers within buildings throughout the UK. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the safety of buildings and play a vital role in our company's mission. What you receive for joining us: We’re looking to offer a salary of £30,000 - £38,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, you will receive a company pension and healthcare, accrued hours scheme, financial loyalty bonus, working hours 40hrs per week, company van plus expenses covered. Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing: Conduct inspections and surveys of fire dampers in commercial and residential buildings to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Carry out detailed assessments of fire damper operation, identifying any issues or defects. Test and maintain fire dampers, ensuring they are in optimal working condition and identify and rectify faults through cleaning, repairing, tek screw removal/replacement or replacing fire dampers as necessary. Complete all necessary record-keeping and reporting, including documenting inspections, test results, and remedial actions taken. Can you show experience in some of these areas: 2 years of experience working as a Fire Damper Remedial Engineer or similar role, but if you have less we would still like to hear from you. Knowledge of fire damper systems, including installation, operation, and maintenance. Familiarity with relevant UK fire safety regulations and standards.
