Responsibilities

  • Dealing with all incoming pricing enquiries
  • Turn enquiries into sales with follow up calls
  • Schedule any orders placed into production paperwork
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure all customers are looked after
  • Assist in the progression and maintenance of the scheduling system
  • Door technical knowledge preferred but full training given
  • Assist in creating marketing and social media content


The Role

1. To provide competitive estimates for doorset and ironmongery packages using Orion system

2. To engage fully with new and existing customers and keep lines of communication regularly opened

3. Working alone but as part of the team to produce compliant and accurate estimates in a timely manner

4. To identify and approach any potential new customers to grow customer base

5. Turning quotes into production schedules using Orion system

6. Liaise with the production team to ensure accurate production tickets and effective handovers

7. Excellent approach to customer service and keeping effective communication with customers from enquiry to delivery

8. Assist in IT progression and maintenance of the system to enable growth with the business when required

 

Other duties may include: Attending off site meetings as and when required, possible opportunity to represent the group at business networking events


Knowledge and Skills

Self motivated and organized individual that offers excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong team player with a drive to succeed

Time management skills to prioritise work

Preferable experience in fire door estimating or scheduling, however full training given

Technical understanding would be beneficial

Attention to detail essential


This role would suit someone looking to get into the fire safety industry. Full training will be given and previous experience is not essential. The right person and attitude to learn is what we are looking for.
