At Zeta Services, we don't hire you based on your job title. Titles can be misleading and rarely tell the full story of your skills and experience. Instead, we're on the lookout for exceptional individuals who can demonstrate their expertise in the areas outlined below. You don't need to tick every box; if you can confidently discuss some of the experience we're after, then we'd love to hear from you. We won't overlook talent just because your career path doesn't follow a traditional trajectory.

What sets us apart is our commitment to seeing beyond your CV. We invest in people who are ready to grow with us and want to be part of a company that genuinely values their potential. Many organisations talk about growth, but we've already achieved significant milestones; we'd be thrilled to share our journey with you. Let's start the conversation.

The role we're hiring for is a Fire Safety Consultant to join our team based in the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire areas. If you have a Health and Safety background and moved on to specialise in Fire Safety and Risk Assessment, this may just be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

With ambitious but strong business growth plans over the next three years, this is an excellent time for you to join us.

What you receive for joining us:

We're looking to offer a competitive basic salary of £45,000 - £55,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer a company car scheme, 3% pension, private health care scheme, and a cycle to work scheme.

Here's a look at some of the things you'll be doing:

You’ll offer and provide technical fire safety advice and practical solutions to clients within the construction industry, identifying fire safety risks and reporting accordingly.

Attend client meetings in person to provide fire safety advice, legislatively and practically.

Conduct fire risk assessments in compliance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 within our construction client portfolio.

Provide descriptive, concise reports, highlighting remedial action to be taken.

Can you show experience in some of these areas:

A minimum of two years experience in undertaking fire risk assessments on construction sites (in-house training will be provided if required pertaining to the construction element) and ideally a level 4 or above Fire Risk Assessment through the Institution of Fire Engineers or the Fire Protection Association or the Institute of Fire Managers.

Knowledge and ability to write detailed technical reports.

Up to date knowledge of current fire safety regulations, legislation, technical standards, and best practice.

If you have BAFE validator experience, this would be desirable, along with IFA/IFSM membership and third-party accreditation with the Institution of Fire Engineers register or committed to joining.

Do you see yourself reflected in the description above? If so, we encourage you to submit your application today. Uncertain whether your skills align perfectly? Don't hesitate to apply regardless; we value candidates with diverse skill sets and will carefully consider all applicants.
