My client, a prominent local authority within the South West, is seeking to recruit a skilled Fire Safety Manager for an initial 6-month contract. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire risk management across a range of buildings, including council housing, corporate offices, and operational buildings. Responsibilities:
In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Building Regulations, and PAS 7). IFE membership. Experience in delivering fire safety training and raising awareness among staff. Experience in conducting Fire Risk Assessments and managing the implementation of follow-up works. Local Authority Experience. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
