Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fire and Security Small Works & Reactive Engineer to join the VOCA Fire Protection (VFP) reactive and small works team. This role will support a variety of disciplines that directly assist our clients as part of our service and maintenance contracts, including pharmacy chains, cinema groups, care homes, and residential properties. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, approachable, and capable of working effectively as part of a team. To be successful in this role, you must welcome opportunities to work with innovative systems and products, demonstrate expertise across multiple disciplines, and maintain high standards in all aspects of your work. The successful candidate must be capable of fault finding and work under pressure to ensure that deadlines are achieved. Being in a position of responsibility and privilege, you must be trustworthy and honest in your conduct and provide excellent quality when installing fire and security systems. Key Responsibilities: Ensure works are carried out to a high standard. Be respectful and friendly with other team members and clients. Communicate daily with the service team. Carry out fault-finding activities. Conduct routine maintenance visits. Undertake small works and finish to a high standard. Perform basic commissioning. Complete detailed job reports. Assist other team members when required. Identify company improvements and voice your opinion. VFP Culture Requirements: Positive mentality. Great communication skills. Identify company improvements and voice your opinion. 100% punctuality. Assist other team members when required. Location: Scotland; occasionally you may be asked to travel a further distance, and overnight stays are a possibility; however, this is very limited and at the engineer’s discretion. Working Hours: Working hours are flexible due to the nature of the business; the candidate will be expected to meet clients and scheduling requests. Security experience: minimum 1 year. Salary:

£36,000 plus overtime.
