Fire & Security Project Engineer - Scotland and UK Wide based Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Fire Systems Project Engineer specifically covering the South East region. Basic Salary – up to £38,000 per annum Overtime, Travel Time circa £10,000 per annum Pension, Life Assurance & much more.



Please see our generous remuneration packages below Marlowe Fire & Security’s Project Engineer’s Technically engineer, install commission small and large projects across the Marlowe portfolio whilst controlling and planning the projects and commissioning works. Liaise with key clients to ensure programme deadlines are achieved whilst maintaining profitability, Health, Safety and quality to company requirements. Carry out commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with industry standards. Conduct site surveys, installation inspections, and performance testing. Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers and other team members. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations on all projects. Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities and provide detailed reports. Assist with system training for end-users and operational staff. Plan and control labour and materials required to deliver the project. Provide technical expertise as required on projects. Attend site meetings as required. Line management of engineers and sub contractors as assigned, including management of employee. Managing job profitability of assigned projects and reporting into the project manager. Controlling all aspects of health and safety on sites. Carry out installation and commissioning of systems and minor works when required. Ensure the maintenance of Marlowe quality and HSE standards. For this specific opportunity, we are looking for candidates who offer: Minimum of 3 years' experience in commissioning fire detection and alarm systems. Strong knowledge of various fire alarm systems such as Gent, Notifier, and Kentec. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is preferred. Experience of engineering projects across single and multiple site locations. Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills. Technical knowledge of Major systems and projects.
