We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Installation, Maintenance, and Small Works Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and minor project works related to fire alarm systems and security systems. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background in fire and security systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

Installation of fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, intruder alarms, and emergency lighting in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Ensure installations are completed to the highest standards and comply with relevant codes and regulations. Program and configure systems to meet the specific needs of each site. Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of installed systems to ensure they are fully operational.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of fire alarms, security systems, and related equipment. Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption for clients. Conduct regular inspections and audits of systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance visits and actions taken.

Small Works and Modifications:

Undertake small works and system modifications as required, including upgrades, expansions, and enhancements. Work on minor construction or refurbishment projects, ensuring integration with existing systems.

Working Hours:

Full-time; Standard working week from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Typically assigned to customer sites within a 70-mile radius of the Nottingham office. Additional travelling time will be compensated. On-call Duty: 1 week in every 7. Benefits:
