Fire & Security Surveyor - Home Based Covering Scotland
Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Surveyor, this will be a home based opportunity that will require site visits.
Basic Salary – up to £35,000 per annum
Vehicle / Vehicle Allowance – subject to candidate preference

Your Responsibilities
As a fire & security surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting site surveys to assess and provide recommendations for fire and security systems. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions within budget and to company standards. Your duties will include:
Conducting site surveys to assess client needs and system requirements
Undertaking technical surveys to obtain information required to provide fully compliant quotations for Fire and/or Security System works.
Identifying clear and concise scope of works from clients to determine the best solution and guide the client in terms of compliance.
Completing maintenance, installation, and asset tender pricing requests, as well as any associated technical information gathering.
Issuing minor works proposals to clients in line with the client’s requirements and MFS working practices.
Creating detailed reports and recommendations for fire and security systems
Providing cost estimates and quotations for proposed solutions
Collaborating with project teams to ensure successful implementation of survey findings
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
Requirements

At least 3-5 years of experience in fire and security surveying or a related field
Strong knowledge of fire and security systems including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder detection systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using surveying tools and software
Proven experience in fire and security surveying, with a strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required
