Essex area . The role: As a Fire Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining critical life safety systems. Your responsibilities will include: Servicing and maintaining : Sprinkler systems
(commercial and domestic). Dry and wet risers . Water storage tanks . Conducting
hazard reviews
and ensuring systems comply with British Standards. Performing
mechanical repairs
to ensure operational reliability. Delivering excellent service and support to a variety of clients across commercial and residential sites. This role is
mechanical —not electrical—and requires hands-on expertise with fire safety systems. What we're looking for: We’re seeking a dedicated, experienced professional with: Proven Experience : Minimum
2 years
in a similar mechanical role, servicing fire safety systems. Knowledge : Familiarity with
British Standards
and
fire safety regulations . Practical Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Teamwork & Independence : The ability to work both alone and collaboratively. Driving Licence : A full UK driving licence is essential. Local Availability : Must be based in
