Role : Firmware Test Engineer
Salary : Up to 50,000
Onsite : You are required on-site in Halifax 5 days per week.
This is an opportunity to join a team in the process of growing and broadening their skills. This team focuses on designing and manufacturing efficient energy solutions used nationwide.
As part of a talented and small multi-disciplinary Product Engineering team, the successful candidate will experience the following areas:
Expertise in developing Test Scripts for manual and automation testing specifically tailored to embedded firmware and embedded systems (The core programming language they work with is C, though they also use C++ and Python).
Building Test Plans and Specifications.
Test Automation: Developing automation Test Scripts using Python, PyTest, Selenium.
Ability to produce Technical Reports to a good standard both in terms of technical content.
Hands-on experience in a regulated environment.
Strong background in the development and execution of verification and validation protocols.
Relevant industry degree (electronics, computer science, mechanical) and testing accreditation.
