Fitter/Installer | Boroughbridge, York | Full Time | Starting at £26,500, depending on experience Our client is seeking a Fitter/Installer to join their manufacturing company, based near Boroughbridge, just off the A1. However, the role involves spending most of the working time at customer sites. The successful candidate will work at the factory site when not at customer locations. The company produces a high-quality range of cubicles, washrooms, vanity units, and lockers for various organisations, including schools, sports and leisure centres, healthcare facilities, and entertainment venues. They work closely with the construction industry nationwide, delivering a professional fitting and installation service. The successful applicant will be part of the Company that provides a service right from design and product advice through to manufacture, supply, and fit. Are you the right person for the job? NVQ Level 2 in Joinery Valid driving licence CSCS card (desirable) Willingness to stay overnight when necessary Experience in on-site joinery Experience in the cubicle industry (desirable) DBS checks required for some sites What will your role look like? Installing company products on-site to individual order requirements as directed by installation supervisor or manager Checking on-site dimensions against drawings before commencing Ensuring all installations are to the design and layout of each order’s signed off drawings Ensuring all installations are completed within the required timeframe (as instructed by installation supervisor or manager) Completing installations by leaving site clean and tidy, check all pencil marks are removed Reporting hours spent on each site/order to the installation supervisor or manager Completing any snagging tasks as requested by the installation supervisor or manager Checking all tools and equipment are in good working order and reporting any faults to the installation supervisor or manager What can you expect in return?
