Job Title: Fitter's Mate Location: Newry Employment Type: Temporary (Potential to become permanent based on performance and attendance) Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 5:30pm (36 hours/week) Pay Rate: £12 per hour Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Fitter's Mate to support our showroom fitter. The role involves picking products, assisting with installations, and performing a variety of manual tasks, including heavy lifting, building display boards, and fitting out show-vans. This is a temporary role with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. Main Duties: Picking and preparing products. Assisting the showroom fitter with installations. Heavy lifting and manual tasks. Building and wrapping display boards. Stripping, painting, and fitting out show-vans. Requirements: Valid driving license. Experience in warehouse or production environments. Good with hand tools and comfortable with manual tasks. Interest in DIY or joinery work.
