Our client is seeking a talented Fixed Asset Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation while advancing your career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and supporting key financial processes, including: Consolidating the FAR on a period-by-period basis to streamline the year-end process and reconciliation. Providing support to the budgeting and forecasting functions. Building and maintaining strong relationships with the wider business on capital-related matters. Accurately processing and monitoring asset additions and disposals. Mitigating risks by ensuring robust documentation for audit sampling. Responding proactively to ad hoc requests and challenges.

Skills and Experience Required

To excel in this role, you should have: Professional Qualifications:

Working towards CIMA or ACCA. Fixed Asset Expertise:

Proven experience in managing and controlling all aspects of fixed assets. Accounting Knowledge:

Strong understanding of UK Accounting Standards. Technical Skills:

Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and familiarity with finance system management and internal controls. Communication:

Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders. Work Ethic:

A proactive, positive, and solutions-focused approach to your work.
