Main duties of the job This is a new post to expand the cardiac image service at ULHT supporting the development of the MRI service at Lincoln, expanding the MRI service at Grantham and cardiac CT provision via the development of a same-day Rapid Access Chest Pain / Cardiac CT pathway. An additional role in supporting the already well established echocardiography service is desirable.

MRCP (UK) or equivalent Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practice On GMC Specialist Register for Cardiology or within 6 months of CCT Desirable MD or PhD Knowledge/ Abilities/ Skills Essential Substantial Experience of working in clinical cardiology in a UK setting Evidence of comprehensive experience in complex device implantation Desirable Additional subspecialty interest in heart failure or cardiac electrophysiology Experience in devices at post CCT Fellowship level HRUK accreditation or equivalent Skills Essential Interest in teaching medical students, trainees and general practitioners Experience of clinical audit Good communication skills Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team Full driving licence Desirable ALS provider Research Essential Understanding of research methodology Desirable Interest in research
