It is anticipated that new appointees will bring sub-specialist interests. A Medical Thoracoscopy Service commenced in March 2013 and undertakes procedures of all patients within the trust. We would like to provide EBUS within the Trust, and there is a business case progressing for this, which we aim to deliver within the next year. In summer 2021, a multi-million pound investment in Lincoln resulted in the establishment of a state-of-the-art Respiratory Support Unit (RSU) that will adhere to GIRFT recommendations and British Thoracic Society standards, ensuring that patients in Lincolnshire receive the best possible respiratory care. The unit has ten side rooms (4 negative pressure), a pleural room, and an 18-bed respiratory ward (Witham Ward). Main duties of the job
