A well-established veterinary practice in Bromsgrove is excited to announce an opportunity for a part-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The practice prioritises the well-being of its team, understanding that a balanced work-life is essential for maximizing individual potential. With flexible rotas and adaptable working hours, the practice tailors schedules to fit each veterinarian's lifestyle, ensuring that whether you are an early-career professional or a seasoned vet, you'll enjoy a truly fulfilling experience that prioritizes your well-being.

In this role, a typical day consists of two consultation sessions, with dedicated time in between for surgery. The surgical procedures you will handle include neutering, soft tissue surgery, and orthopaedic procedures, including laparoscopic spays. Additionally, the practice is well-equipped with dental x-ray facilities, ultrasound, endoscopy, and an in-house laboratory for blood tests and microscopy. Importantly, out-of-hours services are outsourced, allowing for a more manageable work-life balance.

With over 20 years of service, this friendly and compassionate team aims to deliver excellent customer service, consistently going the extra mile to meet the diverse needs of their clientele. In this fulfilling role, you will encounter a wide variety of cases, supported by an average of three vets and a dedicated nursing team each day. Moreover, you will have access to the expertise and support of the outstanding team whenever needed.
