We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager to join the team at MIG House Residential in Brentwood, supporting children with learning disabilities and/or autism. With a focus on person-centred care, we aim to help young people achieve their potential in a safe, caring setting. The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our friendly team and ensure our home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. Key Responsibilities

Lead the children's home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and relevant regulations. Provide high-quality, person-centred care for children with learning disabilities and/or autism. Develop and implement quality assurance initiatives to maintain and improve care standards. Manage staff recruitment, training, appraisals, and performance to foster a skilled and motivated team. Ensure effective care planning and maintain accurate records in line with regulatory requirements. Oversee safeguarding practices to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents. Benefits

We are looking for a Registered Manager with a strong understanding of working with children with learning disabilities and/or autism. You'll have proven experience leading and managing a children's home and a solid understanding of Ofsted inspections and compliance standards. About You:

Hold an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. Experience managing an Ofsted-registered children's home. Strong knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and relevant statutory guidance. Leadership, communication, and organisational skills to effectively manage staff and resources. A compassionate, person-centred approach to care, towards service users and their families. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and person-centred care.
