Up to £65,000 per annum, plus comprehensive package Package Includes: 25 days annual leave (increases year by year) + Bank Holidays Car allowance Travel expenses Pension scheme Additional company benefits Overview: We are seeking an experienced Roofing Contracts Manager to oversee flat roofing projects across London and the Home Counties. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing roofing contracts within the Education, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a proven track record in roofing project management, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple pitched roofing contracts, ensuring they run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Client Liaison: Maintain strong working relationships with clients, including housing associations, local authorities, and educational institutions, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Contract Delivery: Ensure all roofing projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, within budget, and on schedule. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of roofing specialists and subcontractors, providing guidance and ensuring all work is carried out to company specifications and safety regulations. Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Compliance: Ensure all projects are compliant with building regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental policies. Reporting: Regularly report on project progress, performance, and any potential risks or issues to senior management. Procurement: Oversee the procurement of materials and subcontractors, ensuring best value for the company and clients. Skills & Experience: Longevity with previous or current employer. Proven experience as a Roofing Contracts Manager, ideally within the Commercial, Healthcare, and Education sectors. Strong understanding of pitched roofing systems, materials, and techniques. Experience managing multiple roofing contracts simultaneously. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets. Exceptional communication and client relationship-building skills. Knowledge of relevant regulations, health & safety standards, and building codes. A professional qualification in roofing, construction management, or a related field is desirable but not essential. What We Offer: Competitive salary of up to £65k per annum.
