Fleet & Vehicle Manager We are working with a fit-out contractor to recruit an experienced Fleet & Vehicle Manager to join their team based in Ivybridge. The fleet will include company cars, pool cars, vans and lorries. If you have a passion for fleet management, an understanding of vehicle maintenance, and a pro-active attitude to be part of an ever expanding company, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities will include: Oversee and ensure the fleet operate efficiently, safely and within budget. Schedule vehicle inspections and any necessary repairs and services (MOTs). Ensure all fleet activities comply with industry standards and regulations. Budget management and fleet reporting, keep accurate records regarding vehicle fleet operations. Build and maintain good working relationships with external service providers, such as fuel suppliers and maintenance contractors. Regulatory compliance management. Suitable candidates: All applicants must hold a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Transport Management. Must have previous experience in a fleet management role. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unpredictable situations such as vehicle breakdowns or compliance issues. Must have a sound understanding of the transportation industry and trends affecting fleet management.
