Job Purpose
The Fleet Mechanic will safely and efficiently service, repair, and maintain HGVs, LGVs, trailers, and associated equipment within workshop settings and off-site environments. Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Repairs:
Conduct safe and efficient servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs, LGVs, trailers, and powder tankers. Perform tasks in both workshop and off-site locations as needed. Equipment Checks:
Complete daily checks on plant and equipment such as forklifts, MEWPs, lifting ramps, and accessories. Report any defects or issues to the Site Manager or Fleet Manager. Documentation:
Accurately complete and submit job sheets, inspection reports, timesheets, and other departmental documentation. Training and Representation:
Attend meetings and training sessions as directed by management. Provide training and guidance to colleagues when required. Represent the company professionally and courteously to customers, visitors, and staff. Additional Information:
The tasks outlined above are not exhaustive; other duties within the scope of the role may be required. Employees must ensure the health, safety, and welfare of themselves and others. This role may require travel to other locations as directed. What We're Looking For
