The Kelly Group is looking to hire the best talent and is currently seeking an experienced stores person to work within our fleet department. In the role you will be responsible for: Receive and count stock items and pursue suppliers regarding outstanding orders. Source and order parts whilst maintaining weekly purchasing budget and seek out alternative suppliers to ensure best market prices. Maintain a computerized stock record system. Check end of life parts for recycling, sale or return. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in storeroom and ensure they are stored in an orderly and accessible manner. Process all invoices regarding parts and materials ordered and delivered. Maintain equipment and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations. Verify inventory by comparing with physical stock counts and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors. Supply parts to all mechanics and fitters ensuring full parts support when necessary. Daily communication with mechanics to ensure stock supply for services and defect lists. Produce weekly and monthly reports for presentation to managers. Issue stock to internal and external customers, via counter. Complete all parts transfers, run through enquiries. Provide monthly stock level reports to all mobile mechanics. Ensure customer satisfaction in regard to service received. You will have the following skills and experience: Previous knowledge within a parts environment or a background in mechanics is essential. Computer literate and able to adapt to new systems. This is a fast-paced environment, and excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure is essential.
