Initially, it is envisaged that this role will be responsible for the delivery of implementation or deployment projects but in time will build a team of Technical Consultants.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Technical Consultant include:
Proactively manage and deliver Flexera implementation services to clients ensuring a consistently excellent level of service.
Utilise a consultative approach to advise and guide clients on best practice implementation and adoption.
Ensure client objectives are met and that the client derives the best possible value.
Develop client engagement practices including, but not limited to, technical solutions, process and project management.
Identify, document, report opportunities, risks, and associated remediation options.
Ensure customer successes are logged and promoted both within the client’s organisation and also logged.
Ensure that the team develops and maintains key client relationships.
Improvement & Business Development
Maintain up to date industry knowledge of ITAM vendor technologies, policies and practices.
Assist with the training and development of new staff.
Operate as part of the team, contributing to client engagement planning and delivery.
Support sales activities for new and existing customer accounts by providing Flexera subject matter expertise.
Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of Technology services skills to ensure services are delivered to a high standard, are efficient and cost/resource effective.
Define, maintain, and improve documentation, report templates, delivery standards and working practices across the team.
This is primarily concerned with Flexera’s platforms: FNMS and FlexeraOne ITAM with a desirable ability to include Flexera’s IT Visibility and Cloud Cost Optimisation services as well as the Snow Software product acquisitions.
Experience & Skills
Essential:
In depth Flexera implementation working knowledge and experience, minimum of 5 years, ideally gained from Flexera, reseller, consultancy, or end user environment.
Consider themselves a Flexera Technology Specialist.
Proven track record of Flexera implementations.
Excellent working knowledge and experience of ITAM.
Team Player with individual drive and tenacity.
Consultative approach to client engagements.
Desirable:
Knowledge of other tools such as Snow and ServiceNow SAM Pro.
Flexera Professional Certification.
Advanced knowledge of writing scripts required for client deliverables.
ITAM experience and data handling experience.
Qualifications/Experience
University degree or similar/equivalent combination of studies and experience.
You may have gained relevant experience from a variety of backgrounds and for the right person we will provide training and support to help you become successful in this role.
Languages
English: excellent verbal and written skills are essential.
EU languages desirable (but not essential) such as: German, Italian, French, Spanish.
