I am seeking a flexible Personal Assistant to support my son with activities in the home and out in the community once or twice monthly for 5-6 hour sessions at weekends or during school holidays. He is an active 13-year-old with a learning disability which leads him to having some communication issues, but he is happy and loves going out. He enjoys crafts, games, and bowling. Required Characteristics: Flexible and reliable Experience with young people Energetic Driver with own car and relevant class of business insurance an advantage Summary Terms and Conditions: The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour Hours of work: 5-6 hours monthly/fortnightly, flexible and times to be discussed at interview 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays Free Careskills training The post is subject to the following: A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
