We have an exciting opportunity for a Flexographic printer to join us in our production department. Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager, you will safely and efficiently run multi-colour printing presses ensuring the highest quality standards and output volumes. Key areas of responsibility: To ensure the health & safety of all shift staff/contractors including protective clothing, equipment use, and area environment. Carrying out pre-inspection and ensuring any malfunctions of equipment or difficulties with any job are reported to rectify the problem. All planned print machines are operational producing product following guidelines accurately and ensuring all specific customer requirements are met. This includes repeat length, position of print, and colour standards. Maintaining all housekeeping standards, keeping an organized, clean work environment free from debris and hazards. Meeting/exceeding targeted standards and correcting non-conformances. The person: Strong individual with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. A can-do attitude, able to overcome obstacles with a team approach. Organisational and planning skills to manage your time and meet deadlines and objectives. Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels and to motivate others. Knowledge, training, and experience required: 4-colours flexographic print press operating experience. Working/technical knowledge of flexographic printing. Experience in troubleshooting issues with the printing press or print quality. Experience gained from working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Package: Salary range £16.00 to £17.71 based on skills experience and qualifications. Weekend rate of 1.5 and overtime of 1.5. Hours of work 12hrs shift. Annual performance bonus. Discount Benefits Scheme for a range of retailers.
