Join the Build & Maintenance team based in Bristol as a Flight Test Facilities Technician and help us to achieve our mission of pioneering electric aviation. What success will look like for you, as a Flight Test Facilities Technician? As a Flight Test Facilities Technician, you will be required to assist in multiple aspects of work at our aircraft build & maintenance facility to help improve safety and site operational efficiency. This will involve assisting with facility maintenance/repairs, site management of facility upgrades, daily & weekly site inspections, organising/maintaining storage, tooling and non-standard waste disposal. Additionally, the role will assist with identifying and improving the site's 5S setup. You will be working closely with a variety of engineering teams and occasionally you may be required to work a shift system or additional hours for high load periods within the business. You will report directly into the Head of Aircraft Build & Maintenance and be a key member of the Build & Maintenance team, supporting the continued development of our in-house expertise, specialist knowledge and capabilities. What would we like you to bring? We want you to be successful in your role, in order to achieve this, you will need to have proven experience with working in a manufacturing environment. This will ideally have involved working with aircraft production/maintenance, but not essential. It would be highly beneficial to have both mechanical and electrical experience, proficiency with a range of hand and power tools, and experience with managing contractors. A full UK driving licence would be required.
