Floor Layer ROXX Flooring Ltd is a renowned independent flooring company specializing in supplying and installing event flooring for some of the UK’s most prestigious events. Our work features at world-class venues, including The Open, Wimbledon, the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the Grand National, and the Ryder Cup. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Floor Layers to join our team for the upcoming 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush in Summer 2025. About the Role As a Floor Layer with ROXX Flooring, you will play a critical role in ensuring our high standards are met and exceeded. You’ll work with a team dedicated to delivering top-quality results on tight schedules and under event conditions. This role is perfect for professionals who are organised, punctual, and able to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors. Key Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in floor laying Strong organisational and punctuality skills, team-oriented with excellent communication abilities Ability to build quick, effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and clients Valid driving license required for commuting to and from the site Job Details Type : Temporary (3 months) Pay : £16–£19 per hour, based on experience Schedule : 10-hour shifts with potential weekend work as required Location : Ability to commute to and from the event site is essential. We would be keen to see applicants from a Joinery, Carpentry or Fitting background.
