We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Foal Sitter. This is a casual role, ideal for someone who can commit to ad-hoc hours to sit with recumbent foals as and when needed. The role will include:
Assisting Nurses with treatments as required Standing and turning recumbent patients Under supervision, you may be required to monitor vital signs such as heart and respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure, and urine output General housework duties will be included This role is perfect for someone who has a good understanding and experience of mare and foal work. Our main Hospital has RCVS Tier 3 hospital status and is located in Newbury, which is a thriving town in West Berkshire, with many restaurants and only a 45-minute train journey to London Paddington. Situated on the edge of the North Wessex Downs AONB, it also provides beautiful local countryside for long walks with our canine friends. The Branches at Tadley and Thatcham are both located within a short distance of Newbury and are fully equipped for surgical procedures and digital diagnostic imaging.
