Kinetic recruitment services are working in partnership with one of our clients to recruit full-time food production workers for their site based in Ashton-Under-Lyne. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate with the earning potential being high! This position is a short term position with potential for a long term position. Food production and manufacturing experience is a must! This role is a rotation of 2 weeks nights and 2 weeks days; all candidates MUST be able to work both days and nights.
Hours of work:
Week 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday - 48 hours
Week 2:
Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday - 36 hours
Payrate for the first 12 consecutive weeks:
Standard hours: £12.58 per hour
Overtime Monday to Saturday: £18.88 per hour
Overtime Sundays and bank holidays: £25.17 per hour
Payrate after completing 12 consecutive weeks:
Standard hours: £14.91 per hour
Overtime Monday to Saturday: £22.38 per hour
Overtime Sundays and bank holidays: £29.85 per hour
The role:
Packing produce.
Shrink wrapping produce into boxes.
Operating high-speed production lines.
Maximising output and yields.
Ensuring all health and safety procedures are always adhered to.
Maintaining product quality standards and helping them achieve their KPI's.
What we are looking for:
A background in food manufacturing.
A 'can-do' attitude.
Team player.
Great communication skills both written and verbal.
